How does Foliyo connect to my AI tool?
Tools like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor connect directly, through what’s called MCP. Anything else that can run commands can use our command-line tool. Either way, Foliyo runs on our servers, so you have nothing to host.
Can I switch between AI tools?
Yes. Connect each one to the same Foliyo account and allow it to edit. Then any of them can find and update a page another one made.
Do my readers need a Foliyo account?
No. They open your link in their browser. If you set a PIN or asked for an email, they’re asked for that first.
Can I edit something after sending it?
Yes. Publish the fix and the link you sent shows it. Your last 10 versions are kept, so you can look back or restore one. The PIN and the record of who opened it stay as they were.
Can I download a PDF?
Yes. Open the print view from the page in your Foliyo account and use Save as PDF in your browser. Page breaks can vary by browser. The PDF has no PIN and no tracking. There’s no editable PowerPoint version.
What can I publish?
Finished reports, proposals, updates and slides, with images and fonts. Small interactive pieces work too, like a calculator. Live apps that need a database don’t.
Does a read receipt prove someone read it?
No. It shows the link was opened, not that someone understood it. A personal link can be forwarded, so if you need to be sure who it was, ask readers to confirm their email.
