Make your recommendation the first thing they understand
A monthly report should explain what changed, why it matters and what you recommend doing next. A spreadsheet attachment or a long AI conversation can leave the client to reconstruct that argument. Package the approved findings into a report they can read before the meeting and return to afterward.
Foliyo is for agencies, consultants and independent specialists who already create their analysis with AI. Bring the approved evidence from your existing workflow. Your agent prepares the report; Foliyo publishes it. Foliyo does not automatically pull campaign data from advertising platforms or schedule monthly report generation.
Build a report a busy client can act on
Lead with the conclusion and put the evidence close to the claim. Keep the reporting period, source and definition visible for every important number. If a metric is missing or two exports disagree, resolve it or label the gap before designing the page.

Seven clients can have seven distinct identities
Save a project setup for each client. Its design guide can reflect an approved client website or brand reference, while the sender identifies your agency or consultancy. Reuse the chosen design, sender, audience, format and access defaults on the next report, then confirm that they still fit.
The agent can help prepare a design guide from a website you are allowed to use as a reference. Review that guide before saving it. Foliyo does not independently extract a perfect brand system from every URL, and a saved project is organizational context rather than an access boundary between different clients.
From approved analysis to a client-ready link
Connect Foliyo through a compatible MCP client, or use its CLI. Start with a scrolling page for a report the client reads independently. Choose fixed 16:9 slides for a presentation you lead, or flexible slides when sections need different amounts of space.
Foliyo hosts static HTML with supported content and controls. Keep live dashboards, custom JavaScript apps and data connections on the services that run them. Include a readable summary and a link to the source dashboard when the client needs both.

Start with a brief that protects the quality of the analysis
Adapt this prompt to your approved sources. Northwind is a fictional example. Include only material the client should receive, and keep permission to publish separate from permission to send email.
Create a monthly client report for Northwind from the approved September analysis and source exports in this project. State the reporting period and source for every key figure. If a figure needs correction after sharing, ask the agent to retrieve and update the existing Foliyo. Review the correction and verify it at the original URL. Tell the client when a change affects a conclusion or decision. A saved offline copy will not update itself.
For a new reporting month, create a separate report when the client needs a permanent record of each period. Keep the same URL for corrections within that report. Foliyo’s revision history is a recovery aid, not an unlimited monthly archive: it retains up to 10 previous snapshots within a 15 MiB budget per page.
Know when to follow up, without overreading the signals
Free includes a basic read receipt. Pro adds recipient and section engagement with estimated visible reading time. Personal links associate activity with the intended recipient’s link. They do not silently discover an email address, and a forwarded link does not prove who opened it.
Use the report to prepare a useful conversation. If a client returns to the budget section, offer to clarify the budget. Do not claim that a longer visit proves approval or that a missing open proves disinterest. Email gates with optional verification on Pro provide stronger inbox-based access checks when needed.
